Traveling in 2025 and looking to make your trip easier and more comfortable? We have crafted a list of 5 things you should pack for your trip that we know you will love. From neck pillows to portable chargers, we know just what you need when you travel.
Whether you are heading out on a solo trip or a family vacation, it is no secret that traveling, though exciting, can also be pretty stressful.
I travel often within the USA and even that can be stressful, especially the cross-country flights! Throughout my travels, I have put together a bit of a “go bag” for myself.

This is a collection of items I keep in my carry-on suitcase so that they are all there in front of me when I get ready to leave and nothing gets forgotten! Of course, I don’t need every item on every trip but it is good to have them in front of me so I do not forget them in case they are needed!
I have put together this guide for you so that you can create your own “go bag” with all the must-have travel accessories that will make your travels that much easier and less stressful.
Whether you’re an experienced or a first-time traveler, investing in the right travel accessories can impact the ease and enjoyment of your trips.
From practical gadgets that simplify your travel to stylish items that add convenience to your journey, I have made a list that caters to all travelers.
#1 Best Carry-On Backpack for Travel
I discovered this bag right before going to Europe last winter and it was seriously a game changer. I know it looks simple, and it is.
The first great thing about this backpack is that it is small enough to be your personal item on your flight so you can have this PLUS your carry-on item.
It’s also big enough that it could definitely be your carry-on if you are going somewhere for just a night or two, even up to four nights if you are a light packer unlike myself.
Another thing I love about this bag is the fact that it zips all the way down the sides so you can completely flip it out and have a clear view of all your items. This makes it easy for you and easy for TSA if you happen to get your bag checked.
It also has a waterproof pouch for storing your toiletries or wet clothing items and comes with some extra storage bags for cosmetics and shoes. And for all of you who are working while traveling, it can fit up to a 17” laptop.
#2 Best Phone Tripod & Selfie Stick for Travel
I know it may seem kind of cringeworthy but you won’t regret it.
This tripod and selfie stick for traveling is small enough to fit into your crossbody bag or fanny pack.
It will come in handy when you want to take a picture in front of the main attractions where you are traveling to but don’t want to ask a stranger to take one with your phone.
It is a convenient little tripod, super affordable, and takes up hardly any space so why not?
#3 Apple AirTag
This is another travel item purchase you won’t regret. Apple AirTags are becoming increasingly more popular and they are so affordable that you can’t afford to not have one!
If you are traveling with children or valuables then you definitely want to have an AirTag (or multiple) to attach to those valuables.
I know a “tracker” sounds sketchy but having your valuables (children included) in the hands of others is even more sketchy.
AirTags are so small you can easily pop them into your carry-on, purse, laptop case, or even a pocket.
#4 Best Portable Charger for Travel
While most people have portable chargers nowadays, not everyone does, especially if they aren’t traveling often.
I love this portable charger because it comes with a compact carrying case and it has three built-charging cables.
You can charge multiple devices at once which is also great and don’t need to worry about bringing along multiple different types of charging cables which saves space.
I also love that you can plug the portable charge itself into the wall and charge it or charge it with a USB cable from your computer if you need to.
There is really no reason you should run out of power with this one!
#5 Best Neck Pillow for Travel
I know this item seems silly but ever since I found this memory foam neck pillow that can be squished into a compact little bag, I have been taking it with me.
I used to hate packing a bulky neck pillow around so I just didn’t take one and then I would have regrets.
This one is so compact that it does not feel like a huge inconvenience to take onto the plane with me.
It even comes in multiple colors and is super affordable so you can buy one for everyone in your family or travel group.
Takeaways
We know that traveling can be stressful and hope that this list of items will make your trip a bit easier. Feel free to share your favorite travel items in the comments. We would love to know what makes your travel easier.
